Library Collection Spotlight: New Children's Magazines

It's sometimes easy to forget the library is not just a place to go for books. We of course have a wonderful collection of books, but we also have magazines, Audio CDs, DVDs, music CDs, and many other unusal items likes games, discovery kits, and telescopes. Right now I want to tell you about three new magazines that have recently been added to the collection in the Children's Library.  



Thomas & Friends
Suggested reader age: 2-7
The world of Thomas the Tank Engine is brought to life in this fun filled magazine.  Each issue includes stories from the Island of Sodor, actitivies, games, puzzles, and fun things to make and do. This magazine is sure to make any Thomas the Tank Engine fan very excited.

Scooby-Doo!
Suggested reader age: 4-9
Featuring Scooby-Doo! and his friends, this magazine designed to make learning fun, test detective know-how and help children develop their math, reading, writing, and creative skills.  Each issue includes spooky mystery stories, creative crafts, yummy recipes, fun activities, puzzles, and games to play.

Disney Princess
Suggested reader age: 3-9
Your Disney Princess fan will love this magazine in which she'll meet her favorite royal friends. It's designed to make learning fun and test knowledge. There are exciting activities, games, puzzles, stories, crafts and delicious recipes in each issue.
