Also included in this blog post are the suggestions we got from our Facebook friends. Please also share any other books that have made you laugh out loud in the comments!

The Touch of Frost British police procedural audio books make me laugh out loud. I love these audio books! The actor who plays Detective Jack Frost on the British series also narrates the audio. Very dry and sarcastic humor. BUT, this is also a gritty murder series and not cozy! Love the main character’s humor!

I would say that anything by Sarah Vowell or David Sedaris will make me laugh out loud. Their books are often anecdotal, humorous, and intriguing.

Without Feathers by Woody Allen
Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley
One for the Money by Janet Evanovich

Anything by Christopher Moore but especially You Suck: A Love Story. It’s a vampire love story unlike any other book ever written. Moore is irreverent and sarcastic and witty.
Terry Pratchett books also generally make me laugh out loud. The man was quick with a pun. He could twist words in ways that made cliché’s fresh.

The Artemis Fowl series, Fablehaven series, and Sisters Grimm series all made me laugh out loud on more than one occasion. The authors have a witty and humorous way of describing things. Also how they write some of their characters' personalities, actions, and dialogue is hilarious. I also laughed out loud in a room by myself while reading Darth Vader and Son by Jeffrey Brown, because picturing Darth Vader and Luke in those situations is comical.

Books that made me LOL:
Hyperbole & a half by Allie Brosh
I Hate Myselfie by Shane Dawson
We Should Hang Out Sometime by Josh Sundquist
I think the main reason I found these books to be so funny is because they are peoples real life stories that you just cant believe would actually happen in real life. Shane Dawson & Josh Sundquist are both Youtubers who I watch regularly so I already had an idea of how funny and enjoyable their books would be. LOLing occurred.
