How long have you worked at the library? 8 weeks
How many items do you have checked out right now? 8 items
How many items are on your hold list? 1 item
What book can you read again and again without losing interest? Why do you still read it? The Viking Quest series by Lois Walfrid Johnson. Each time I read it, I am reminded how forgiveness and faith are important.
If you were a literary character, who would you be and why? Rose Campbell from Louisa May Alcott’s Rose in Bloom. We possess some of the same characteristics, including high standards, independence, and a desire to help others.
What is your favorite book format (book, audio, mp3, e-reader, etc.)? Books, specifically hardcover.
What is your favorite aspect of working at the library? Helping the patrons out, whether it be finding a book off the shelf or recommending a title.
Have your reading habits changed since working at the library? If so, how? No, if anything my to-read list has expanded!
What is your perfect reading environment? A quiet cabin with a blanket and some kind of chocolate.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what single genre of books would you want with you? Fantasy
What was your favorite children’s book when you were a child? What is your favorite children’s book now? The Berenstain Bears increased my love of reading as a child. Now, I would still go with the Berenstain Bears because of the fond memories.
