I recently read these two books and highly recommend them both. If you're looking for a great book, try one of these.
The Yoga of Max’s Discontent by Karan Baja (5 star in my opinion!)
Max is a success story for the American Dream. Growing up in a New York housing project he has risen to be a Harvard graduate and a top ace Wall Street analyst. But his soul questions his success, and a chance encounter with an Indian cart vendor leads Max on a search to see if he can find answers to his self-doubts and to achieve nirvana. This book is fascinating look into the practice of yoga, enlightenment and transformation.
In prison for a 25 year stint, Nick Mason is given an offer
that will free him 20 years early. The chance to see his daughter grow up leads
him to accept the deal, but at a steep price. Nick is comparable to Jack
Reacher, the tough street smart character in Lee Child’s novels, except for the
fact that Nick is definitely on the wrong side of the law. His heart yearns to
make things right and lead a normal life but he is up against a corrupt police
department and the long arm of a criminal mastermind.
