At the end of every year, many organizations publish their 'best of' lists for books, movies, and audio. We try to provide as many of these materials to our patrons as possible. As an example, the NY Times compiles a list of 100 notable books for the year. So many sound interesting! But which ones to read?
We thought it would be interesting to provide staff ratings for as many books as possible from the fiction list, but as we scanned the list, we were all dismayed that we hadn't read many of these books (and collectively we read a lot of books). What does this mean? Hard to say.
Following are the ratings for those books we have read:
(one star - yuck, five stars - wow!):
Angelology by Danielle Trussoni **** Alana T., * Amanda E.
